Community-Focused Art Residency | Bravo, Sertã · 2024
A visual mapping of silent routines and female resilience in a fading rural landscape.
Research & Public Intervention
In May 2022, I developed an immersive residency in the remote village of Bravo, focusing on the invisible daily routines of women balancing agriculture with domestic care. Developed as part of the “Maratona de Leitura da Sertã” (Sertã Literary Festival) in partnership with the local Municipality, this project captures the profound dedication of those who sustain the land. The residency culminated in an exhibition of video, photography, and mixed-media artworks, reflecting on social responsibility not just as a political duty, but as a collective commitment to giving voice to silent, brave realities.

The Approach
Before approaching, consider:
My perspective is my rarest resource.
Rigor driven by intent and elegance — never a trend.
A commitment to singularity, not volume.
Time is limited. High-impact projects only.
