Researching the daily life and rural traditions of Videmonte and transforming them into illustrations, collages, and video-based artworks.
Public Art Panels Celebrating Village Life
This project was developed during an Art Residency within the Aldeias de Montanha program, working closely with local residents to explore their everyday life and rural practices. Photographs, videos, and collages documented the people and their routines.
The residency culminated in a series of collages embedded with QR codes linking to videos, displayed throughout Videmonte as a tribute to the community. The artworks were presented during the Bread Festival in August 2023, celebrating the village’s daily life and rural culture.
Este projeto foi desenvolvido durante uma Residência Artística no âmbito do programa Aldeias de Montanha, trabalhando em estreita colaboração com os residentes locais para explorar o seu quotidiano e práticas rurais. Fotografias, vídeos e colagens documentaram as pessoas e as suas rotinas na aldeia.
A residência culminou numa série de colagens incorporadas com QR codes que ligam a vídeos, expostas por toda Videmonte como um tributo à comunidade. As obras foram apresentadas durante o Festival do Pão em agosto de 2023, celebrando o quotidiano e a cultura rural da aldeia.
