Self-Knowing and Empowerment
Artistic experience: 3 collage workshops with 10 inmates.
Each workshop was followed by the main psychologist of the establishment – which enriched and facilitated communication with the parties involved.
This art experience help them to develop self-awareness, boost self-esteem and worked as social interaction tool for all the participants.

There was an intended purpose:
to understand the therapeutic reaction, the focus on the moment – concentration and the self-power that the collage technique could have within the prison community.
It was a win for everyone involved, and a seed to a more structured, continuous and ambivalent new project.
