This project in Bairro Padre Cruz, Lisbon—the largest social housing neighborhood in the Iberian Peninsula—utilized collage as a powerful tool for collective expression. In collaboration with ANFRUA (Associação Nacional de Futebol de Rua), I led sessions with local youth to foster a sense of belonging and shared identity. The creative process culminated in a large-scale wheat paste mural, built from the collages and photographic portraits produced during the workshop. By highlighting the faces of its youth, the mural serves as a public testament to the community’s human development and cultural resilience.
Este projeto no Bairro Padre Cruz, em Lisboa — o maior bairro de habitação social da Península Ibérica — utilizou a colagem como uma ferramenta poderosa de expressão coletiva. Em colaboração com a ANFRUA (Associação Nacional de Futebol de Rua), liderei sessões com jovens locais para promover o sentimento de pertença e identidade partilhada. O processo criativo culminou num mural de lambe-lambe (wheat paste) de grande escala, construído a partir das colagens e retratos fotográficos produzidos no workshop. Ao dar destaque aos rostos da sua juventude, o mural serve como um testemunho público do desenvolvimento humano e da resiliência cultural da comunidade.
